About Our Project

Once upon a time there stood a stone house abandoned for more than half century with worn-out walls, broken roof and crumbling foundation, overgrown with wildflowers and weeds…yet with fascinating sea view.

With a passion for crazy projects, we have decided to buy that hidden jewel and breathe a new life to the old house. We have started an adventurous journey of restoration by inviting architect prof.Martin Rajniš to draw the first sketches in 2015. He suggested a complex interconnected apartments and terraces for living and relaxing while keeping the original character of the place and literally incorporating the house into rocky surrounding. The idea was to merge respect for tradition and former charm with comfort of contemporary living. At the beginning of that process, each stone was cleaned, repaired and put back. Most labour was done by Kamil with some help of local craftsman, interiors were designed by Nada trying to blend vintage original details with modern components. It is never ending story to do more or in better way, however we and our guests are already enjoying lightness of being in this solidly grounded stone house for years.
